MERCURY 8-LINE PAGER OPERATION
1.
To turn the unit on, press and hold the Read Key
screen displays the Start-up message.
2.
To save power, the LCD screen turns off a few seconds of inactivity.
3.
When a message is received, the pager will alert and the message will be displayed
on the unit.

The alert can stopped by pressing any key. If the alert is not stopped within the
alert time out period it will be treated as an unread message.
5.
To see messages that are stored on the pager, press the Read Key
recent message will be shown. You can scroll through all previous messages using
the Arrow Keys
6.
You can toggle between four and eight line message mode by pressing the Menu
Key
7.
The backlight will automatically turn on when any button is pressed.
8.
Once the unit is turned on, there is no way to turn it off unless the charger plug-
pack is disconnected and the internal battery goes flat.
