The 2.5L engine was fi rst used in the 2005 Jetta. It
has been optimized for the 2012 Passat
Technical Features:
• Variable oil pump for the lowering of the fuel
consumption
• Exhaust manifold redesigned to reduce weight
• Spark plugs switched to Bosch from NGK
