5. Move the choke lever (15) to the "OPEN" (run) position
The throttle (12) can then be adjusted to the desired speed. Once the engine is in operation, the pump will
continue to run until it is turned off.
Adjusting the Throttle
The throttle is used to regulate the RPM of the engine, which also controls the water
flow out of the discharge outlet.
1. To increase the speed of the engine and water flow move the throttle lever (12)
upwards towards the "H" indicator. (Fig. 14).
2. To decrease the speed of the engine and water flow, move the throttle lever (12)
down towards the "L" indicator.
Stopping the Engine
1. Decrease the speed of the engine and water flow by moving the throttle lever (12)
down towards the "L" indicator and allow to idle for 10-20 seconds.
2. To turn off the engine, press the engine kill button (17) (Fig 15).
3. Allow the engine to completely cool before moving or storing the pump.
