Turning the ice cube maker off
The ice cube maker can be turned off
independently of the freezer section if
you do not want to make any ice cubes.
^ Touch the button for switching the ice
cube maker on and off so that the ice
cube indicator® to the right of the
display goes out,
or
^ Press the On/Off button on the ice
cube maker until the indicator light
goes out.
Set the ice cube maker to the
vacation state (see "Cleaning and
care") and clean the ice cube
drawer when the ice cube maker will
be turned off for a long period of
time.
Making Ice Cubes
Setting the water quantity for

The size of the ice cubes that are
produced depends on the quantity of
inflowing water.
The quantity of inflowing water can be
adjusted to make larger ice cubes.
^ Touch the button for switching Super
Freeze on and off for 5 seconds.
The Super Freeze indicator ª to the
right of the display is on during this
time, and after 5 seconds S flashes in
the lower temperature display (freezer
section). The display shows MENU. You
are now in the settings mode.
^ Tap the button for setting a higher or
lower temperature in the freezer
section until a flashing E appears in
the lower temperature display.
^ Touch the Super button again.
E3 appears in the temperature display
(factory default).
The water quantity can be set between
E1 (lowest water quantity) and E8
(highest water quantity).
