Functional description
The Vitocrossal 300 is operated with
modulating boiler water temperature by
means of the weather-compensated
boiler control unit. Two-stage or modulat
ing burners can be controlled.
The Vitocrossal 300 has two return con
nections. The heating circuits with the
higher return temperature are connected
to the "KR 2" return connection, those
with the lower temperatures to the "KR 1"
return connection.
Please note: At least 15 % of the take-off
from the rated output must be connected
to the "KR 1" return connection.
The boiler water temperature which is es
tablished in the heating mode is higher than
the maximum heating system flow tem
perature by an adjustable difference.
Advantages
Thanks to the separate return connec
tions for heating circuits with high and
low return temperatures, high efficiencies
of up to 109 % are also achieved even
when the majority of heat consumers are
operated with high temperatures.
The two heating circuits connected to the
Vitotronic 300 are controlled without the
need for major installation work.
A remote control can be connected for
each heating circuit.
