    Take care not to cause damage to the speaker cabinet and amplifier module. Ensure the product is disconnected from the mains and input cables have been removed. Page 6 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.
  • Page 7 Taking care not to damage any of the speaker grilles, carefully pull the 3K array to disconnect it from the rear connector. Place the 3K array in a safe place to avoid damage. Page 7 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.
  • Page 8 Gently move the 3K Array from side to side to ensure the gap between the 3K Array chassis and the loudspeaker cabinet is evenly spaced. Fit the remaining 6 screws to secure the 3K Array in position. Page 8 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.
  • Page 9 Ensure there is a soft clean surface that can be used to place the amplifier module on without risk of damage to the heat-sink. Ensure the product is disconnected from the mains and input cables have been removed. Page 9 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.

  • Page 11 Carefully lift the module clear of the rear of the cabinet and place on a soft protective surface to stop the module being marked or scratched. One of the original packing end caps would be ideal. Page 11 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.

  • Page 20 Do not fully tighten the bolts at this stage. Note: It is advisable to use a long shaft hex key to clear the fins on the module and prevent damage. Page 20 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.
  • Page 21 Don’t tighten them fully until all 6 bolts are in place. Once all 6 bolts are in, tighten them all up. Refit the 2 bolts and washers located at the bottom of the module. Page 21 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.

  • Page 23 REMOVING THE UPPER SERVO BASS DRIVE UNIT Remove the 3K Array as per the procedure in APPENDIX 1. Carefully remove the grill and trim ring. Remove all 6 screws and washers securing the drive unit. Page 23 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.
  • Page 24 Note: It may be advisable to protect the cabinet from solder blobs or splashes while using the soldering iron. After soldering and carefully rotate the speaker to gently twist the wires together as shown. Page 24 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.
  • Page 25 Carefully fit the grill and trim ring in position ensuring the flat side of the grill is positioned at the top as shown. Refit the 3K Array as per the procedure in APPENDIX 1. Page 25 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.

  • Page 28 Insert and tighten all 6 screws and washers to secure the drive unit. Note: Check the mounting screws with the torque tool set at 3.7Nm with the T25 Torx bit fitted. Page 28 of 29 Copyright © 2010 Linn Products Ltd.
