3.10.8 Battery type

The KB-BIOS supports Ni-MH dummy battery only.

3.10.9 Over temperature on battery pack

Battery recharging won't start if the temperature of the battery pack is over 50
degrees. If the temperature of the battery pack is over 58 degrees while charging, the
KB-BIOS will trickle charge the battery. If the temperature of the battery pack is over
72 degrees, KB-BIOS will shut down the system to protect the system and the battery
pack.

Timer protection

The KB-BIOS will stop recharging the battery once the time expired. The time set for
each battery is:
In Fast charging mode: Ni-MH battery: 3.5hrs
In trickle charging mode: Ni-MH battery: 5hrs
