    To register a password for the instant and power-on password functions: Open the Start menu, point to Settings, Control Panel, then click Toshiba HW Setup. Select the Password tab. Click Registered. Type your password in the Enter Password box and click OK Type the password again in the Verify Password box and click Click Exit.
