3.5 System Setup
Simultaneous: The internal pointing device is always enabled. Any external-pointing
device connected will also be enabled at the same time.
Ext. Keyboard "Fn"
Disabled: Disable Fn key emulation by Left Ctrl+Alt keys of external keyboard.
Enabled: Enable Fn key emulation by Left Ctrl+Alt keys of external keyboard.
IDE Controller
Configures the integrated local bus IDE adapter using options:
Disabled: Disables CD-ROM and Hard Drive
Primary: Enables Hard Drive Only
Both: Enables CD-ROM and Hard Drive
NOTE: Depending on your operating system, disabling an unused device may
help free system resources for other devices.
FDD Controller
Enables or disables the floppy disk controller.
Disabled: Disabled.
Enabled: User configuration.
Parallel Port
Configure parallel port using options:
Disabled: Disabled.
Enabled: User configuration – for advanced users only.
Auto: BIOS or operating system chooses configuration.
NOTE: Depending on your operating system, disabling an unused device may
help free system resources for other devices.
Mode
Set the mode for the parallel port:
Normal: Normal mode (AT compatible).
Bi-directional: Bi-directional mode (PS/2 compatible).
EPP: EPP mode.
ECP: ECP mode (requires DMA channel).
Base I/O address
Set the base I/O address for the parallel port. When Mode is selected as EPP mode,
'3BC' will not be available.

Interrupt
Set the interrupt for the parallel port.
