Install the rubber stoppers.

Note: Before you start the servicing, disable the internal battery pack. See "Disabling the internal battery
pack" on page 60.
For access, remove these FRUs:
• "1010 SIM card and SIM-card tray" on page 60
• "1020 External battery pack" on page 60
Removal steps of the base cover assembly
1. Loosen the screws
2. Gently lift up the sides of the base cover assembly from the contact areas following the numerical
order from 2 to 10
