Using the phone

To lock the phone, close the slider and
choose Yes. To unlock the phone, choose
Unlock then OK, or open the slider.

Send key: Starts or answers a call. Press (in standby mode) for Call Logs.
Soft keys: Press to choose whatever option is displayed in the bottom left or right of
the screen. In standby mode the left soft key opens New SMS, and the right one starts
Vodafone live!.
Navigation key: Press to select an item or open a folder. Press the key sideways to
navigate round menus, scroll through lists or play games.
In Active Standby mode you'll see shortcuts to main applications, as well as new
messages, emails, and missed calls. Press the key t or u to highlight the icon for the
application you want, then press in
new emails or missed calls.
End key: (During a call) Ends a call. At all other times takes you directly back to the
Standby screen.
Menu key: Always brings up the main Menu screen. Press and hold to bring up the
Application Switching window.
Clear key: Acts as a delete key when entering text.
