Contacts
SIM contacts
You can access your SIM contacts by opening
Contacts and selecting [Options]/SIM
contacts/SIM directory.
To copy individual contacts over to the
main Contacts list, highlight them and press
[Options]/Copy to Contacts. Copy more
than one at a time by marking them and then
copying. Or select [Options]/MarkUnmark/
Mark all, then copy them all over.
Synchronising contacts
If you're using a company server or desktop
assistant for your email, your contacts will be
automatically synchronised with those on your
server or PC. Otherwise, use the Nokia PC Suite
software to synchronise contacts with your
PC. (See page 14 for important Nokia PC Suite
details.)

Using contacts

1. Find a contact:

/Contacts
letter or letters of the name to jump closer. Press
2. Edit a contact:
Select [Options]/Edit to change or add details. When the contact is opened, [Options]/Add thumbnail lets
you add a picture from your photo gallery. In the phonebook list, select [Options]/Delete to delete a contact or
set of marked contacts.
To assign a default number or address open the contact and select [Options]/Defaults. Choose the detail type
and select Assign, then choose the number or address and select Select.
3. Create a new contact:
Select [Options]/New contact
new contacts from numbers or email addresses in other applications using [Options]/Add to Contacts.
4. Group contacts:
Using Group contacts, you can send messages to a group of people at the same time. In the Contacts list press
u to open the Groups list. Select [Options]/New group and enter the name. Then select [Options]/Add

names you want in the group. Then press OK to add them.
