Entering Security Code
The Security Code is required to use the audio unit
when the unit is first used after removed from the
battery power source or the Reset button is pressed.

Turn the power ON.

Do the step 4 through 5 operation, and enter
the Security Code.
"APPROVED" is displayed.
Now, you can use the unit.

Deactivating Security Code

Deactivating the Security Code function.

Select Standby
Press the [SRC] button.
Select the "STANDBY" display.

Enter Security Code mode
1 sec., and select "MENU"
Press [ ]
Press the [AUD] knob for at least 1 second.
When "ENTER" is displayed, "CODE CLR" is also
displayed.

Select the digits to enter
Select the Security Code
numbers

Press the [AUD] knob for at least 3 seconds.
"CLEAR" is displayed.
The Security Code function deactivates.

Exit Security Code mode
Press the [ ] button.

• If a wrong security code is entered, "ERROR" is displayed.
Enter a correct security code.

Operation
Press the [4] or [¢] button.
Turn the [AUD] knob, or press the
[FM+]/ [AM–] button.

Receive mode Setting

Setting the receiver mode as follows;
Receive mode Display
Auto mode "AUTO"
Digital "DIGITAL" Digital broadcasts only.
Analog "ANALOG" Analog broadcasts only.

Select HD Radio source
Press the [SRC] button.
Select the "HD RADIO" display.

Enter Receive mode
1 sec., and select "MENU"
Press [ ]

Press the [AUD] knob for at least 1 second.

Set the Receive mode
Turn the [AUD] knob, or press the [FM+]/ [AM–]
button.

Exit Receive mode
Press the [ ] button.
Operation
Automatically tunes to analog broadcast
when there is no digital broadcast.
