Saving an access code (outside line code)

You can save two access codes: one for dialling via the fixed line and one for dialling
via VoIP.
Prerequisite: you must enter an access code for external calls using your PABX,
e.g., "0".

You can enter data in the following fields:
Access external line with:
For dialling via the fixed line: enter or change the access code, max. three digits.
For:
Specify when the access code should be inserted for dialling via the fixed line:
Call Lists
The access code is put in front of numbers dialled from one of the following lists:
– The SMS list
– The accepted calls list
– The missed calls list
– An answering machine list (Gigaset C610A IP)
All Calls
The access code prefixes all numbers dialled.
Off
The access code for the fixed line is deactivated. It does not prefix any phone
number.
Access external IP line with:
For dialling via VoIP connections: Enter or change access code, max. 4 digits.
For:
Specify when the access code should also be dialled when dialling via VoIP:
Call Lists
For dialling from the SMS list, missed calls list, accepted calls list or an answering
machine list (Gigaset C610AIP).
All Calls
For all numbers dialled on the handset.
Off
No access code should be dialled first for calls via a VoIP connection.

Please note
The access code never prefixes any emergency numbers or SMS service centre
numbers.
