TITLE: New configuration of the 25cf SxS air duct cover in the freezer compartment.
SUBJECT: Since week 13/2008 the Side by Side production implement a new modified cover for the air channel to the air
diffuser. Therefore the existing air scoop is not longer used. In case of a necessary cover exchange or missing parts, the
technician has to implement the modified cover with the order number 4812 440 98379. The air scoop has to be removed,
because the modified cover doesn't fit with the old air scoop. This is referring to all 25cf SxS appliance which are produced
before end of March 2008.
REMEDIAL ACTION
The spare part number has changed from the old code 4812 440 98225 into 4812 440 98379. The stock in SPC has been
exchanged and the air duct cover is available in SPC since April 2008. In the picture below you can see the old and new
configuration of the air duct cover.
