TRANSMISSION OPERATION
, ,MODE BUTTQN
The MODE button is used to invoke special Electroriic Control Unit (ECU)
functions. A label adjacent to the MODE', button identifiestQe function
associated with a mode change. The mode status, will be indicated on the
digital display by lighting MODRON when the function has been selected .. , '

NOT SHIFT LIGHT
This indicator is located on the instrument panel. IIluminatjon ot'this light,
accompanied by eight seconds of short beepsJrqm the shift selector, indicates
that shifts are being r e s t r i c t e d . '

When the DO NOT SHIFT light comes on, a reset procedure ,cari' be
performed to clear the system. If necessary,

Press and hold the DISPLAY MODE button until a tone is heard. Then ,

NOTE: If the cordition is temporary, the

normal manner.
