TO CHECK AGITATOR
Base Plate Belt Guard
Turn the vacuum
cleaner over to
check for worn
brushes.
When
brushes are worn
to the level of the
base belt guard,
replace the agita-
tor.
TO REPLACE AGITATOR
Remove the nozzle cover, agitator cover,
and agitator assembly. See BELT CHANG-
ING AND AGITATOR CLEANING.
Replace the agitator assembly with a new
one,
Reassemble
the belt, agitator, agitator cover
and nozzle cover. See "To replace belt" in
BELT CHANGING
AND AGITATOR
CLEANING
section.
