Framing depth measurement is noted with the side nailing strips set as far forward on the firebox as possible.
The side nailing strips can be adjusted back up to 3-1/8" to allow for varying thicknesses in non-combustible
material & wall finishes.
Important: The minimum framing dimensions given for height, width and depth must be maintained even if
using non combustible materials.
Dangerous operating conditions will occur if minimum framing dimensions are not adhered to.
