Stitch length dial
To select stitch length, turn the dial _.
The larger the number, the longer the stitch.
The stitch length can be adjusted from approximately
5/128" to 25/128" (1 to 5 mm).
Position "R" is for rolled and narrow hemming.

Differential feed dial
The differential feed ratio can be adjusted by turning the
dial @.The number on the dial indicates the differential feed
ratio between the main and the sub feed motion.
1.0 indicates the neutral position.
How to adjust
Stretched
Shrinked
If the fabric is stretched _, turn the dial counter-clockwise
(toward 2.2).
If the fabric is shrunk _, turn the dial clock-wise
(toward 0.5).
• Maximum differential feed ratio, 2.2, is effective when
the stitch length dial is in the range of 1 to 4.0. When
the stitch length dial is set between 4.0 and 5.0, the
maximum differential feed ratio will automatically be set
between 2.2 and 1.8.
• Puckering may be eliminated by reducing thread
tensions as well as adjusting the differential
feed ratio.
