ElectroCoupler

he tender is equipped with an ElectroCoupler that can only be activated using the LionChief
remote when the TRANSFORMER switch is in the OFF position. For more information on activat-
ing the ElectroCoupler, see page 9.

Switch locations

Refer to Figure 1 for the location of the switches on the underside of the locomotive's cab.
SOUND switch: Turns background sounds on and off. Whistle, bell, and announcements are not
affected.
TRANSFORMER switch: Toggles between Remote control mode and transformer control mode.
SMOKE switch: Turns the smoke unit on and off.
