Front seat back inclination angle can be adjusted by raising the
door side of seat.
• To reduce the risk of injury and to ensure maximum seat belt
during a collision or a sudden stop, the seat should not be reclined any more
than needed for comfort. The seatback and seat belts work best only when the
occupant is sitting well back and straight up in seat. If the seat is reclined, you
may slide under the lap belt, causing force to be applied to your abdomen, or
you may not be fully restrained, depending on the nature of the accident,
increasing the likelihood of injuries.
