SCISSOR TYPE JACK ASSEMBLY

Store the jack and common tool in toolkit bag and securely strap them under the
front passenger seat.
CAUTION
Do not store jack, spare tyre or other equipment other than specified location. In
sudden stop or collision, loose equipment can be thrown around inside your
vehicle and cause personal injuries.
Preparation
1. Park on a level surface and set the parking brake firmly.
2. Set the transmission to "REVERSE".
3. Turn the hazard indicator lights on.
4. Turn off the ignition.
5. Block the wheel diagonally opposite the jacking position.
6. Loosen but do not remove wheel nuts.
NOTE
The wheel nuts on the wheels have right-hand threads.
