batteryand goodwire
connections,module
is faulty.
• Are output
connectionson and
tight?.
• Are output

• If possible,observe
grill in dark location.
Operateignition
systemand lookfor
arcingbetween
outputwires and grill
frame.
• All sparkspresentbut
weak or at slowrate.
• Has moisture
accumulated on
electrodeand/orin
burnerports,
• Inspectelectrodesfor
cracks.
• Installbattery(makesurethat "+"and "--" connectors
are orientedcorrectly, w ith "+" end downand "--" end
up.)
• Replacebatterywith newAAA-sizealkalinebattery.
• Unscrewbuttoncapassemblyand reinstall,makingsure
threadsare alignedand engagedfully.
• Replacespark moduleassembly.
• Removeand reconnectall outputconnections at module
andelectrodes.
• Removeand reconnectall outputconnections at module
andelectrodes.
• If sparksare observedotherthanfrom burner(s), w ire
insulationmay bedamaged.Replace wires.
• Replacebatterywith a newAAA-sizealkalinebattery.
• Use papertowelto removemoisture.
• Replacecrackedor brokenelectrodes.
