Manual tuning

Main unit only

Press [SELECTOR] to select "FM" or "AM".

Press [- TUNE MODE] to select "MANUAL".
Every time you press the button:

3 Press [4 TUNING 3] to select the frequency.
Press and hold [4 TUNING 3] until the frequency
starts scrolling to start automatic tuning. Tuning
stops when a station is found.
Preseting the channel
Up to 15 stations can be set in each band, FM and
AM.

While listening to the radio broadcast
Press [ENTER].

While the frequency and "PGM" are fl ashing on the
display
Press the numeric buttons to select a
channel.
Example: To select 12, [h10] \ [1] \ [2]
Alternatively, press [4, 3], then press [ENTER].
The station occupying a channel is erased if
another station is preset to that channel.

Press [- TUNE MODE] to select "MANUAL".

Press [4 TUNING 3] to tune to the lowest
frequency (FM: 87.50, AM: 522).

Press and hold [MEMORY].
Release the button when "FM AUTO" or "AM
AUTO" is displayed.
The tuner presets all the stations it can receive
into the channels in ascending order.
• "SET OK" is displayed when the stations are set,
and the radio tunes to the last preset station.
• "ERROR"
presetting is unsuccessful. Preset the channels
manually (\ see left).

Press [TUNER/BAND] to select "FM" or "AM".

Press the numeric buttons to select the
channel.
Alternatively, press [4, 3].
When a stereo FM broadcast is being received,
"ST" lights in the display.
If noise is excessive in FM
Main unit only
Press and hold [– FM MODE] to display "MONO".
Press and hold [– FM MODE] again to cancel the
mode.
The mode is also canceled when you change the
frequency.
When "AM" is selected
Press [FUNCTIONS] on the remote control.
Every time you press the button: BP 2
• The setting is recalled whenever "AM" is selected.
