Making Dough

 Place the kneading blade into the bread pan.
Preparations
 Insert the ingredients in the bread pan in the order listed in the recipe.
(P. 12)
 Set the bread pan into the main unit, and plug the breadmaker into the outlet.

(When 'pizza' was chosen, go to step 3.)

 Timer is not available on Dough option.
 You can select between 'basic', 'french' and 'pizza'
dough types.
 I f you would like to add extra ingredients to your
dough (P. 15), insert in the raisin nut dispenser or
the bread pan.
 For programs other than 'pizza', a 'REST' process
will begin immediately after starting, followed by
'kneading' and 'rising'.
 The ingredients in the raisin nut dispenser are
automatically inserted during the kneading
process.
 Shape the finished dough and allow it to rise until
doubled in size according to the recipe, then bake
in the oven.

Adding extra ingredients to bread or dough
You can mix your favourite ingredients into the dough to make all kinds of flavoured breads.
Dry ingredients, insoluble ingredients
 Insert the extra ingredients in the raisin nut dispenser.
 Cut up roughly into approx. 5 mm (
Dried fruits

inch) cubes.

 Sugar-coated ingredients may stick to the raisin nut dispenser and not fall into the bread pan.
 Chop finely.
Nuts
 Nuts impair the effect of gluten, so avoid using too much.
 Using large, hard seeds may scratch the coating of the raisin nut dispenser and bread pan.
Seeds
 Use up to 1–2 tbsp of dried herbs. For fresh herbs, follow the instructions in the recipe.
Herbs
 Sometimes oily ingredients may stick to the raisin nut dispenser and not fall into the bread pan.
Bacon, salami
Moist/viscous ingredients, soluble ingredients*
 Insert these ingredients together with the others into the bread pan.
Fresh fruits, fruits pickled in alcohol
 Only use quantities as in the recipe, as the water content of the ingredients will affect your bread.
Cheese, chocolate
* These ingredients cannot be inserted in the raisin nut dispenser as they will stick to the dispenser and not fall into the bread pan.
• Follow the recipe for the quantities for each ingredient.
Simply insert the extra ingredients in
the raisin nut dispenser or the bread
pan before start.
We recommend selecting crust color
'DARK' to get better baking results
when ingredients are added on
'BAKE RAPID' option.
