Configuring the SAS Expander Card
After installing the SAS Expander Card in a server system, download and install the latest drivers (.inf
files only) from the Adaptec Web site at start.adaptec.com. See
System Requirements
on page 11 for
a complete list of supported operating systems. You will need a USB flash drive to complete this task.
After installing the driver, the SAS Expander Card AEC-82885T is transparent to users in RAID
configurations. Refer to the RAID controller user guide for information about configuring a RAID system.
