2. When the device displays 'SIM card is PUK-Locked. Please contact Customer Care', tap
Emergency Call.
3. Enter the following string: **05*PUK*NEWPIN*NEWPIN#.
4. Tap OK.
5. Follow any additional prompts.

SIM PIN

Change SIM PIN

To change the SIM PIN code, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap System settings.
3. Scroll down to 'PERSONAL,' and then tap Security.
4. Tap Set up SIM card lock.
5. If necessary, select the Lock SIM card check box, enter your current SIM PIN, and then tap OK.
6. Tap Change SIM PIN.
7. Enter your current SIM PIN.
Note: The default SIM PIN is 1234.
8. Tap OK.
9. Enter the new SIM PIN.
10. Tap OK
11. Re-enter the new SIM PIN.
12. Tap OK.

Turn on/off SIM PIN

The SIM PIN code can protect your SIM from being used in other devices. When you turn on the SIM PIN
lock, the device prompts you to enter the code after turning it on.
To lock and unlock the SIM card, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap System settings.
3. Scroll down to 'PERSONAL,' and then tap Security.
4. Tap Set up SIM card lock.
5. Select or clear the Lock SIM card check box
6. Enter the SIM PIN, and then tap OK.
