Back up media & pictures
To back up your media and pictures, follow these steps:
1. Connect the device to a computer using the USB cable.
2. When prompted, tap Media sync (MTP).
3. On your PC computer, an 'AutoPlay' window will appear. Click Open device to view files using
Windows Explorer.
4. Navigate to the desired media and picture files stored on your phone.
5. Drag and drop the music files from your phone to a folder on your computer.
6. When you are done copying, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray.
7. Click Safely Remove Mass Storage Device.
8. Click OK.
9. Disconnect the device from the computer.

Restore Data

Restore apps

To restore backed up apps, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
2. Tap Backup.
3. Tap Restore.
4. Select a backup file from the list.
5. Tap Restore.
6. Review the warning information, and then tap Yes to confirm. The device will restart.

Restore contacts

To restore backed up contacts, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
2. Tap Backup.
3. Tap Restore.
4. Select a backup file from the list.
5. Tap Restore.
6. Review the warning information, and then tap Yes to confirm. The device will restart.
