7 Software Updates

7.1 Checking for Stiletto Software Updates

Note: You must be connected to the Internet to check for Stiletto software updates.
1. Select File Device Settings or click the click the "gear" icon (
icon on the right side of the screen. The Device Settings dialog box appears.
2. Click the Check for Software Update button to check for new software availability
(remember, you must be connected to the Internet for this step). MSS will identify your
Stiletto and will display only the very latest appropriate update. If your Stiletto does not need
to be updated, the following dialog will be presented:
3. Click OK to close the dialog box. If a new software update is available for your device, the
Software Update Available for Device confirmation dialog box appears as shown below:
4. Click the OK button to update your Stiletto with the latest software. The Stiletto will begin
the software update by downloading it from the software update server. Download status will
appear on the PC screen, and the device will alert you when the update is complete.
