NOTE
This vehicle is equipped with
front and rear disk brakes, with separate
hydraulic circuits.
The following information refers to a single
brake system, but is applicable to both.
WARNING
The brakes are extremely important to
your safety. Do not use the vehicle if the
brakes do not work perfectly. Always
check the brake efficiency before riding.
WARNING
Sudden changes in clearance or elastic
resistance on the brake lever are due to
problems with the hydraulic system.
Contact a Moto Guzzi Authorized
Dealer, should you be in doubt as to
whether your braking system is working
perfectly, and if you are unable to carry
out normal checks.

WARNING
Take special care to ensure that brake
disks are not greasy or oily, especially
a f t e r p e r f o r m i n g m a i n t e n a n c e
operations or checks.
Make sure that the brake lines are not
twisted or worn.
Take care to prevent water and dust
from accidentally entering the system.
We recommend that you wear latex
gloves when servicing the hydraulic
system.
The brake fluid may cause irritation in
contact with the skin or eyes.
WARNING
Carefully wash any parts of the body
that have come into contact with the
fluid. In case of contact with the eyes,
see an eye doctor or other physician.

CAUTION
When using brake fluid, be careful not
to spill it onto the plastic and painted
