TROUBLE SHOOTING

Ps1 Trouble Shooting

Check the PVR according to the procedures detailed below.
If the PVR does not work properly after conducting Problem Solving Protocols,
please contact the DGTEC technical department on 1800 189 941. This unit
contains dangerous voltages, never remove the cover.
When not in use for a long period, it is recommended that you unplug the unit from
the main power socket.
Problem
No Power
No Reception
No Sound
No Video
The remote control is in operation,
but the PVR is not responding
Cannot record two channels at the
same time
I am setting recording in the timer
but they are not recording
Aspect key on the remote control
has no effect
I press Pause but Timeshift does
not work
No Channels in the Channel List
Solution
Check the power cord for defects.
Check mains power switch is on.
Press power button on RCU.
Check the Signal Strength Indictor and check
the antenna cable and that the antenna has
been inserted correctly.
Volume may be set to low or audio muted.
Check the audio cable connection.
Change video output port or video display type.
Check the video cable connection.
Check the batteries.
Check the battery contact.
Check that the loop cable is correctly connected
between the two tuners on the rear panel of the
PVR
Check to make sure you are selecting the
RECORD action for the timer event
Go the ARConversion settings in the Play
setting sub menu of System Settings, if the
setting is on IGNORE the Aspect Key on the
remote will have no effect
You need to go to the PVR Function setting in
the Main Menu to activate Timeshift before it
will work
Please rescan channels.
