2. Set a Timer Event using the Timer
Press the TIMER key on the remote control to activate the timer function. In this
environment you can set numerous timer events (refer to page 13)
3. Set a Timer Event from the EPG
Press the EPG key on the remote control to display the EPG, navigate to the
channel, day and program you want to record and press the GREEN key to add
the program to the timer list. You can repeat this process many times in the
EPG environment.
4. Timeshift
This function is particularly useful when your viewing is interrupted for a short
period of time, like when the telephone rings and you need to answer it but do
not want to miss the program you are watching.
Press the PAUSE key on the remote control to activate timeshift, the picture will
freeze and the program will start recording to the Timeshift buffer that needs to
have been activated in the PVR Settings menu. Simply press PLAY when you
wish to recommence watching the program.

3.1 PVR Settings

In this menu, you can use the ◄/►keys to change the settings, ▲/▼keys to select
the item or press EXIT to cancel.
HDD Manager
Select HDD manager using the ▲/▼keys then press OK to display the following
items:
HDD Info: Displays information about the Hard Drive such as Used and Free space
available for recording.
Format: Use the ▲/▼keys to select the Format option, Reformatting the HDD will
result in all recorded data being lost.
