To have an alarm up and working the "Alarm action" value must be set to "On".
To set the alarm tone, press OK key (Menu) > Scroll down key (two
times) > Shift right key (Settings) > OK key > Scroll down key
(four times) (tone) > OK key > Scroll down key (two times) (alarm).

When the alarm time expires

The phone will sound an alert tone, and shows Alarm and the Time on the
display.
Press Stop by means of the OK key to stop the alarm or press Snooze
by means of the Right soft key to reschedule the alarm in next 10
minutes.
If the alarm time is reached while the phone is switched off, the phone switches
itself on and starts sounding the alarm tone. If you press Stop, the phone asks
whether you want to switch the phone on. Press No to keep the phone
switched off or Yes to make phone switch-on.
