TROU LESHOOTING GUIDE
P
A. The air conditioner does not
run.
. The outdoor fan runs but the
compressor will not start.
C. There is insuf
cient heating or
cooling.
. The compressor runs
continuously.
E. The compressor starts but shuts
down uickly.
F. Clicking sound is heard from the
air conditioner.

1. Power failure.
2. Fuse blown or circuit breaker
open.

oltage is too low.
4. Faulty contactor or relay.
5. Electrical connections loose.
. Thermostat ad ustment too low
(in heating mode) or too high (in
cooling mode).
. Faulty capacitor.
8. Incorrect wiring, terminal loose.

breaker.
