There are more variables involved in how hard you should workout than just heart rate. Your stress level, physical health, emotional health, temperature, humidity, the time of day, the last time you ate and what you ate, all contribute to the intensity at which you should workout.
FUNCTIONS Heart Rate Control Selecting a Heart Rate Control Program: You have the option, during the setup mode, to choose either the Weight Control (HR-1) program or the Cardiovascular (HR-2) program. The Weight Control program will maintain your heart rate at of your Maximum Heart Rate.
