Problem
Although this unit is
correctly connected to a
TV, images cannot be
seen.
The images are squeezed
horizontally.
If the SD card is inserted in
another device, it is not
recognised.
VIERA Link does not work.
Cannot copy scenes on
the SD card by connecting
to other equipment with
the USB cable.
Problem
When connected by the
USB cable and charging
the battery, an error
message will appear on
the PC.
With other products
≥ Please read the operating instructions of your TV and select
the channel that matches the input used for the connection.
≥ Change the [TV ASPECT] setting to match the aspect ratio of
the TV.

≥ When connecting the device to a television, the television
image will not be displayed in the following cases. Use the
device's LCD monitor.
j Recording video
j When setting PRE-REC
≥ Check that the device is compatible with the capacity or type
of SD card (SD Memory Card/SDHC Memory Card/SDXC
Memory Card) that you inserted. Refer to the operating
instructions of the device for details.

≥ Connect with a HDMI mini cable. (supplied or optional)*

≥ Set [VIERA Link] to [ON].
≥ Turn the unit off and then back on again.
* Use the HDMI mini cable that comes with this unit if supplied. If it
does not come with a HDMI mini cable, use a genuine Panasonic
HDMI mini cable (RP-CDHM15, RP-CDHM30: optional). Check
the accessories in the basic operating instructions.
(Setting on other devices)
≥ If the TV input does not switch automatically, switch the input
using the TV remote control.
≥ Check the VIERA Link setting on the connected device.
≥ Please refer to the operating instructions of the connected
device.
≥ Other equipment might have not recognised the SD card.
Unplug the USB cable once, and reconnect it.
With a PC
≥ After removing the USB cable, turn the unit on and connect
the cable again. The unit will be recognised by the PC. To
charge the battery, after safely removing the USB cable, turn
the unit off and connect the USB cable again.
