SMOKE OUTPUT

POINT PLUS is designed for the connection of the fl ue at the
top, back or side left of the stove.
FOR THE CONNECTION OF THE SMOKE OUTPUT
TO THE CHIMNEY, WHETHER FROM THE BACK,
SIDE OR TOP, IT IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE
CORRESPONDING METAL SIDE LEFT.
To connect:
- Loosen (by about 15 mm) the two screws on the cast iron top
under the steel cover (A - fi g. 1).
- Open the door and remove the galvanised panel (B1 - fi g. 2)
- Loosen the screw on the lower/front part of the left side (B -
fi g. 2).
- Remove the screw above the top (see fi g. 5 on page 29)
- Remove the metallic left side, moving it about 2 cm towards
the front of the stove, extracting it fi rst from below and then
pulling it out from under the top (fi g. 3).
At this point, choose the necessary fl ue connection.

REAR SMOKE OUTPUT CONNECTION

Fit the elbow joint to the smoke extractor unit vent (C- fi g. 4)
with the band provided.
Connect the side smoke output pipe (not provided) to the afore-
mentioned elbow joint.
In this case it is suffi cient to make the smoke output pipe (not
provided) pass through the hole in the lower part of the sheet
metal back (fi g. 4).

SIDE SMOKE OUTPUT CONNECTION

Fit the elbow joint to the smoke extractor unit vent (D- fi g. 5)
with the band provided.
Connect the side smoke output pipe (not provided) to the afore-
mentioned elbow joint.
Remove the pre-cut diaphragm from the sheet metal side to al-
low the smoke output pipe (not provided) to pass through (fi g.
5).
Complete the operation by applying the closure rosette pro-
vided (E - fi g. 6) using the screws provided, after replacing the
metal side.
N.B. The rosette and the metal side must be fi tted after the fl ue
has been defi nitively fi xed.

TOP SMOKE OUTPUT CONNECTION

Connect the rear smoke output pipe (not provided) to the
smoke extractor unit vent (D - fi g. 7) with the band provided.
In this case, it is necessary to use the two sheet metal half-cov-
ers provided (G - H - fi g. 7), instead of the whole sheet metal
cover, and to eliminate the galvanised cap (I - fi g. 8).
Remove the diaphragm from the small metal half-cover (G -
fi g. 7) to allow passage of the pipe.
AFTER COMPLETING THE CONNECTION OF THE
SMOKE OUTPUT PIPE TO THE FLUE, REPLACE THE
METAL SIDE AND THEN CONTINUE WITH THE AP-
PLICATION OF THE CASING.
