Troubleshooting - JVC KD-ADV5490 Instructions Manual

What appears to be trouble is not always serious. Check the following points before calling aservice center.
Troubleshooting
• Connect the video cord correctly.
• Select acorrect input on the monitor.
Remedy/Cause
Select 1/4:3 LETTERBOXI/ (see page 31).
Parking brake wire is not connected properly. (See
Installation/Connection Manual.)
• Stop playback while driving on rough roads.
• Change the disc.
• Check the cords and connections.
Eject the disc forcibly (see page 3).
• Unlock the disc (see page 13).
• Eject the disc forcibly (see page 3).
Insert the disc correctly.
Connect the antenna firmly.
Reset the unit (see page 3).
Store stations manually.
• Adjust the volume to the optimum level.
• Check the cords and connections.
j. Insert afinalized disc.

Finalize the discs with the component which you
have used for recording.
Symptom
• The unit does not work at all.
• Sound cannot be heard from th.e speakers.
