Removing the driven half-pulley bearing

- Remove the roller bearing with the special ex-
tractor inserted from the bottom of the fixed half-
pulley.
CAUTION
POSITION THE HOLDING EDGE OF THE EXTRACTION PLI-
ERS BETWEEN THE END OF THE BEARING AND THE
BUILT IN SEALING RING.
Specific tooling
001467Y029 Bell for bearings, O.D. 38 mm
- Remove the ball bearing retention snap ring.
- Expel the ball bearing from the side of the clutch
housing by means of the special tool.
N.B.
PROPERLY SUPPORT THE HALF-PULLEY SO AS NOT TO
DEFORM THE SLIDING SURFACE OF THE DRIVING BELT

Inspecting the driven fixed half-pulley

- Check that there are no signs of wear on the work
surface of the belt. If there are, replace the half-
pulley..
- Make sure the bearings do not show signs of un-
usual wear.
- Measure the external diameter of the pulley bush-
ing.
