5.2 Repair guide

5.2.1 Faulty power supply

Phenomenon
Power does not come
ON. (POWER lamp
does not light up.)
If a new fuse is
replaced, it immediately
blows.
∗ If the fuse blows even when the designated AC adapter is used, it is likely that the thermal head
unit or control board is defective. Replace as required. Also, check the drawer and I/F cable
wiring.
Cause
The AC adapter is not
connected.
Fuse is blown.
Control board is
defective.
Circuit drive power
supply is not normal.
Check Method
Check if an out-of-spec
power supply is used.
Check whether
designated fuse is used.
Use a voltmeter to
measure the circuit
drive voltage.
