Default settings

The printer settings has three levels of default settings; the default settings have been set at the factory before
shipment. (see Menu table on page 88).
Network default settings

Note
• You cannot modify the present default settings.
• Page counter can never be changed.
Network default setting
If you want to reset the print server back to its factory default settings (resetting all information such as the
password and IP address information), follow these steps:
a
Press any of the menu buttons (+, -, Set or Back) of the control panel on your machine.

Press + or - to choose NETWORK.
Press Set.

Press + or - to choose FACTORY RESET.
Press Set.

Press Set again.

Factory Reset
You can partially reset the machine back to its default printer settings. The settings that will not be reset are
the INTERFACE, LANGUAGE, PAGE PROTECTION, SCALABLE FONT, LOCK PANEL and the Network settings:
a
Press any of the menu buttons (+, -, Set or Back) of the control panel on your machine.

Press + or - to choose RESET MENU.
Press Set.
