Tape fast forward/rewind
To move the tape fast forward, press
"˙˙" (9) or "¯¯" (12) button de-
pending on the direction of the tape. The dis-
play will show the direction selected:
– "FORWARD"
– "REWIND".
To interrupt fast forward/rewind, press
"˙˙" (9) or "¯¯" (12) again.
The fast forward/rewind function is inter-
rupted in the following cases:
– When the sound source is changed
– When the cassette is ejected
– When the direction of the tape is re-
versed
– When a function that needs the display
for new information is turned on/off or start-
ed
– When the set is turned off
– When the TA (traffic information), Tel-
mute and PTY31 functions are turned on.
After the message the set resumes playing
– When "L" (8) or "M" (10) is
pressed.
Pause function
To pause the cassette player, press reset 3
(16). The display will show the wording
"PAUSE".
To listen to the track again, press the pre-
set button 3 again (16).
The pause function is cancelled automati-
cally changing the listening source.
Scanning music (Scan function)
With this function it is possible to hear all
the tracks contained in the cassette.
Kep the "SRC" button pressed (6) until
hearing the "beep" to play the first 10 sec-
onds of all the pieces on the tape. While
playing the track and searching the start of
the next track, the display will show the
wording "SCAN". Press the "SRC" button
again (6) to interrupt scanning while lis-
tening to a track: the word "SCAN" will go
off the display and the cassette will be
played starting from that track.
The scanning sequence is the following:
– from the track played up to the end of
the tracks on the same side of the tape
– playing side change and scanning of all
the tracks on that side
– again changing side and scanning all the
tracks on that side. After playing the tracks
the function goes off.
