Changing the tape playing
direction
After playing the tape, the cassette side
is changed automatically (Autoreverse func-
tion).
The display shows the side of the cassette
that is being played.
To change side before the end of the tape,
press "¯ ˙ " (3) (Reverse function); the
display will change accordingly.

Searching previous/next track
(MSS function)
Press "L" (8), to hear the next track on
the cassette and "M" (10) twice to hear
the previous track. In the first case the tape
will move fast forward until reaching the
next track, from where playing will be re-
sumed. During fast forward the display
shows the wording "MSS FF" followed by
the number of the next pieces to be
skipped.Press "M" (10), while listening to
a piece to play it again from the start, press
the button again to hear the previous piece.
During rewind the display shows the word-
ing "MSS FR" followed by the number of
previous pieces to be skipped.
Keep these buttons pressed to move for-
ward/backwards the number of required
pieces.
Music searching is interrupted in the
following cased:
– When the sound source is changed
– When the cassette is ejected
– When the direction of the tape is
reversed
– When a function that needs the display
for new information is turned on/off or start-
ed
– When the set is turned off
– When the TA (traffic information), Tel-
mute and PTY31 functions are turned on.
After the message the set resumes playing
– When "˙˙" (9) or "¯¯" (12) is
pressed.
