Check, Cancel And Change Programs

When the DVD timer indicator lights on the front display
panel
Press TIMER #, then press 1.
When " " lights on the front display panel and the DVD
timer indicator also lights up on the front display panel.
Press 1.
When "R-LK" lights on the front display panel
Press REC LINK, then press 1.

Press PROG to access the Program Check screen, then press
rt w e to select "VHS PRGM CHECK" or "DVD PRGM CHECK".
To return to the previous screen after you check the program, press
PROG again.
To cancel the program
Press rt to select a program to be cancelled, then press
CANCEL.

Press rt to select the program, then press ENTER. The
program screen appears.

Change the settings of the desired recording options as
required.
Refer to steps 5 – 10 in "Manual Timer Programing" (

Press PROG to complete timer correction. The normal screen
resumes.

For VCR Plus+, Manual or On-Disc Timer Programing (DVD
deck only)
Press TIMER #.
For Automatic Satellite Program Recording
Press REC LINK for 2 seconds or more.
The DVD timer indicator also lights up on the front display panel and
the VHS deck is automatically selected. When the VHS deck is in
timer standby mode, the unit is automatically turned off.
NOTE:
When you check, cancel and change a On-Disc Timer Programing, be
sure to insert the On-Disc Timer programed disc.
Program's information on the front display panel
You can check the details of the programs even when the power
is turned off. (it is necessary that the Power Save mode
(
mode.) However, it is not possible to cancel or change the
program's setting.
DVD
A Press PROG.
B Press rt until the desired program number ("P-1" to "P-8")
appears, then press ENTER.
C Press e.

D Press PROG to complete checking.
When Programs Overlap Each Other
If "PROGRAM OVERLAPPED" appears, you have another
program overlapping the program you have just made.
Confirm with the arrow on "OK", then press PROG. The Program
Check screen appears and conflicting programs will be highlighted
in pink.
Example: Program 3 (you have
just made) and program 4

If you do not mind this overlap,
press PROG to finish the timer
program setting. The program whose start time is earlier will be
recorded and the other one will not be recorded correctly.

To cancel the program
Press CANCEL.

on the TV screen for about 5 seconds, then the normal screen

NOTE:
When any overlaps remain after deletion and modification of programs,
the Program Check screen remains showing the conflicting programs.
In such a case, repeat the procedure above until the conflict is solved.

The normal display resumes.
Confirm the overlapping
Press rt to select the desired program to be cancelled or
mark appears on the left of the date of each item. Press
Change the program setting.
Press PROG to check if the conflict has been settled. The
