The diagram above shows how the filter pump is wired. Additional pumps should be wired the
same way.

Note If pump is greater than 3 H.P., install an external contactor. Use relay to switch coil of
external contactor.

Adding Relays

The Power Center comes standard with 4 relays. It is possible to add additional relays (model
RLY-LX). The LX-3800 Power Center has room for 7 relays, and the LX-3800L Power Center
has room for 8 relays.
At the Sub-panel, install circuit breaker. Run wires from circuit breaker to relay terminal
block LINE 1 and LINE 2.
Connect equipment to the relay terminal block LOAD 1 and LOAD 2.
