In the Custom menu, select [Camera]/
[LifeKit]/[Information reader].

Display information in the center of the screen/t.
: The shutter sounds.
: Hold the FOMA terminal securely to fit necessary information in the
screen. If the displayed text gets small, display a phone number or
address and make its size bigger to scan.
: Display necessary information near the center of the screen.
: Display necessary information in bigger size to scan easily. If the
camera gets too close, it causes difficulty in focusing. Move the
camera away at least 10 cm from information.

Press t/add to the phonebook.
: The shot images are automatically saved and the phonebook entry
screen appears. Scanned items are entered in the phonebook entry
screen.
: When there are four or more saved phone numbers or mail
addresses, the three numbers or addresses from the top are saved.
: The shot images are set to Picture call. However, the images do not
appear when making/receiving a call or in the Redial/Received calls
details screen.
Some information cannot be scanned or recognized properly
depending on the description of magazine, etc.
The following cannot be scanned.
Phone number in Chinese numeral
Scanning does not work well for the following texts.
Printed on scabrous paper, etc.
Have reading printed beside store name, etc.
Include some highlighted texts
Refer to Card reader for cases other than listed above.
The shot images are saved to the [Camera] folder in My picture of Data
box.

Cameraloupe
Using the FOMA terminal as loupe
Use the camera to magnify a small text, such a text in a
newspaper and others, and view it in the display. Shooting the
magnified image as a still picture is also available.
Display at a magnification of approximately 3.6 times in the normal
position, and at approximately 2.6 times in the Cycloid position.
