Remove filter screen, wash by means of petrol and dry
w e l l . Before mounting, d i p filter screen briefly, into a
motor oil bath (SAE 40 or 50), let drip off.
3.3.5 Cleaning the fuel pipes
Drain fuel tank.
Pull fuel pipe f r o m cock and carburetter and blow clear.
Unscrew fuel cock (upper union nut).
Take out fuel strainer and clean it; b l o w clear fuel cock.
3.3.6 Cleaning the carburetter
Maintenance operations concerning the carburetter ne-
cessitate special
know-how
and
should
absolutely
be
carried through in an authorized PUCH service station.
