DISASSEMBLE
(1) Remove transmission from vehicle.
(2) Remove overdrive unit.
(3) Clean transmission exterior with steam gun or
with solvent. Wear eye protection during cleaning
operations.
(4) Remove shift and throttle levers from valve
body manual lever shaft.
(5) Remove transmission speed sensor and O-ring
seal from overdrive unit (Fig. 122).
