Enable Emergency mode
Emergency mode saves battery power by
changing the following settings:
• Automatically adjusting the screen tone to
grey-scale.
• Limiting the number of enabled applications
minimum.
• Turning off the data network while the screen
is turned off.
• Turning off connectivity features such as Wi-
Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, Osaifu-Keitai, and GPS.

Press and hold (Power/Screen lock
key) for one second or longer.
• Device options screen appears.

"Emergency mode" → Confirm the
notice → "OK"
• The screen tone will become grey-scale
and Emergency mode will be enabled.
Information
• To disable Emergency mode, tap
"Disable Emergency mode". The terminal
will restart after Emergency mode is
disabled.
• To enable features such as Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth again, tap
• Enabling Emergency mode restricts some
features such as Talkback.
• Camera, MobileTV, and Internet increase
bettery consumption even when
Emergency mode is enabled.
