Installing the Mobility Router

Perform the following steps to install the Mobility Router:
Assembling the Rack Rails on page 5

Installing Rails to the Chassis on page 5

Attaching the Rack Rails to the Rack on page 6

Installing the Mobility Router into the Rack on page 7

1.5.1 Assembling the Rack Rails
Assemble the rack rails that were included with the Mobility Router before attaching them to
the rack. Each rack rail consists of two rails—one short rail and one long rail.
To assemble the rack rails:

Insert the guide pins of the long rail in the keyhole slots on the short rail.

Slide the long rail so that the rack rail assembly is locked.

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the other rack rail.

1.5.2 Installing Rails to the Chassis
Attach the rear inner rails to the chassis. The rear inner rails are labeled with "Back" and an
arrow, indicating which way the rail should be facing.
